With over ten years of experience, Shannon’s trajectory as a recruiting professional reflects her service mindset. Her unique skills and leadership in various recruiting realms have consistently yielded high growth in direct-hire placements among teams, high client retention and rapid job placements for mid-level to executive roles.

Shannon’s personable and strategic approach stems from her extensive educational background. She holds several degrees: a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Sociology from the University of New Orleans, and an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. Her passion for applying sound methodology in recruiting, led to her time at the Adler School of Professional Psychology where she taught a course in Research Methods and additional coursework for The Chicago School of Professional Psychology’s Business Psychology PhD program. Career experience includes Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for the State of Louisiana and a recent productive tenure as the Managing Director for Careers in Nonprofits, across two U.S. regions.

Shannon’s dissertation in Business Psychology focuses on uncovering biases in the most commonly used candidate selection methods and has introduced alternative methods for improving hiring decisions.
